New Mindset, New Goals

Doing more of the same usually means that you will get more of the same results.  If you want to change things, if you want to see amazing new results, you have to change up what you are doing and you have to change your mindset.  If you keep doing the same things, have the same mindset, the same behavior, the same set of thoughts, you will produce the same results. 

Look at what you are doing right now. Are you doing the same thing that you did yesterday? Are you trying anything different? Are you thinking about the same limiting thoughts that you had yesterday? Do you have the same approach? Do you see yourself thinking and doing anything different today compared to yesterday? We often form habits, behaviors, and routines that keep us on the same track producing the same results.

If you want to see a major improvement in results and in your success, you first must radically change your mindset. This in turn will allow you to change up how you go about accomplishing the goal that you want to achieve.  Think and believe how crazy valuable and successful you want to be. Think and believe that you will indeed accomplish some mind-blowing goal that you just set for yourself.  That’s right, instead of limiting yourself to the same old beliefs and mindset, write down some new, GIGANTIC goal.  Not just a modest or slightly better goal that you think you might be able to achieve.  I want you to think BIG! Give yourself a goal so huge that it is scary. 

Now that you have your new goal, see yourself accomplishing it.  Think and believe it will absolutely come true.  Push any negative, self-doubt thoughts aside.  Stay completely focused on seeing yourself accomplishing your new goal.  NO MATTER HOW CRAZY IT SOUNDS!  Pin your new goal next to your computer on a piece of paper or wherever you want it, as long as you can see it every single day. 

Now you might not have all the details on how to get to your goal but don’t worry about that.  The plan (the details) will come naturally. You just have to believe and see yourself accomplishing the goal first.  By doing this, you will naturally attract the necessary steps and things that you need to do differently in order to get there.  Ditch your old self.  Leave behind the self-limiting thoughts and acts that were holding you back yesterday. 

Begin to see yourself at the top of your game.  Begin to feel so incredibly valuable and successful that you feel like you’re the most important person in the world!  Feels good, doesn’t it? Why limit yourself when you know you have the potential to do unbelievably amazing things and hit that crazy new goal? And even if you are reading this and still doubting the possibility of achieving your new goal, I have a question for you: what is the worst that can happen… you fall short but you still produce WAY BETTER results than what you were doing yesterday? Still not bad, right!!?? 

Remember when you were a child and you thought when you grew up that you would be an astronaut, or a millionaire, or doing something that was awesome?  But what happened?  Over the years, through our schooling, interactions with others, and through our life experiences, we got conditioned.  We conformed.  We may have forgotten about those childhood dreams and instead settled for where we are today.  We believed and acted on our limiting thoughts and here we are.

But if we are mindful of this and if we commit to thinking, feeling, believing, and seeing ourselves in a new way- drastically better and accomplishing insanely awesome goals, we will do just that.  We are breaking the practice of doing more of the same with the same old mindset and beliefs and we are now attracting new mindsets and goals that can absolutely happen and be achieved.
